BREAKING: New Photos of Heike’s Tomb Released!

My sister recently did some investigative work, and polled her friends about Heike’s Tomb in Cheboygan. Because she is a bit older, she has more connections with people who used to party out at the site during high school.

Lucky for us, someone shared a photo of the “tombstone” as it was during…judging by the clothes…the mid-eighties?

Heike’s Tomb circa 1985?

If that doesn’t look like it was made by a crazy dude, then I don’t know what does. The man couldn’t even make the letter N correctly…

Again, for reference, the bottom reads: “IN A DREAM I SEEN JESUS, AS MEAK AND HUMBLE OF HEART.”

We also got another picture of one of his monuments closer to town.

we get the point…you have weird dreams.

It really is no wonder why the locals made up wild stories about him.  And now, he’s gonna have an entire music album

Speaking of music- Amanda, Lindsey and I are meeting up to write harmonies for the intro of track 7.  Expect a full detailed report in a couple of days!

There is an article about the “tomb”. It was published in the Cheboygan Tribune years ago. This photo was first made “public” on a Facebook page set up for all things Cheboygan.

I might also add that I have a digital copy of said article that I would be willing to send to you. It explains the whole story. Heike was just a lonely old man who wanted to be left alone.
